| Police distribute food items among poor, needy | | ‘We Care for You’ campaign | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Mar 30: Carrying onward the initiative “We Care for You” launched by J&K Police, Samba Police today in its third consecutive day distributed food and ration items to poor and needy people of Ramgarh area. A police team of PS Ramgarh headed by SHO Ramgarh carried out another round of volunteer act and today reached out to the slum area at Trutah Morh, Ramgarh where about 200 slum dwellers & migrant labourers are presently putting up.
These poor & needy people were provided food and ration items by the police purchased from own contribution made by the police personnel of PS Ramgarh. Samba Police is extending every possible help to the poor & needy people especially migrant labourers whose livelihoods have been hit due to the lockdown and has appealed to them to stay at home and not to move out from their localities. Samba Police has also sought public cooperation and advised them to follow the safety measures. Social distancing is the key measure in our fight against Coronavirus. |
