Kishtwar Administration issued passes to 13 vehicles for smooth supply of essential commodities

Jammu, Mar 30: In order to continue hassle free transportation of essential commodities in Kishtwar District in wake of country wide lockdown due to Corona Virus pendamic, District Administration Kishtwar on the recommendation of Assistant Director Food Civil Supplies and Public Distribution Department (FCS&PDD) accorded permission to 13 vehicles to play on different routes of Kishtwar District and on Kishtwar-Jammu National Highway for transportation of ration and other essential commodities.
As per the details available with Early Times, in its communication dated 28-3-2020 by Assistant Director FCS&PDD requesting for issuance of permission to vehicles required for carrying Grocery items.
On the bases of the recommendation made by the Food Department, DC Kishtwar issued necessary Curfew passes to 13 vehicles which include three vehicles that were allowed to travel on Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway or on other intra District routes while 10 other vehicles can play on inter District routes as per the challan details after proper medical security check beside strict adherence of protocol in view of COVID 19 outbreak.
After the permission from District Administration, the situation ease out in Kishtwar town and peripheral areas with regular supply of ration at Government run depots from where the same ration will be delivered to the ration card holders at door step.
