| Leading businessman Subhash Sharma provides ration to needy people | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 31: Extending a helping hand, a leading entrepreneur and social activist Subhash Sharma and his team today provided dry ration in Patoli Brahmana area to the needy people, who are unable to feed themselves because of the ongoing lockdown in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.
Subhash Sharma distributed around one thousand dry ration kits to the needy people particularly among migrant labourers, who hail from other parts of the country and are presently putting up in and around Patoli Brahmana area.
Subahsh Sharma and his team members take necessary precautions especially maintaining safe distance while approaching and distributing the ration among needy people, who are at the verge of starvation due to imposition of complete lockdown.
While talking to media persons, Subhash Sharma informed that the distribution of ration was aimed to help the poor and needy at this time of crisis.
"We distributed ration packets of dry ration to 1000 people. We handed over these ration packets to the needy families. We appeal people to come forward to extend a helping hand to the needy families and donate generously during these testing times for the society in general and the poor masses in particular, who are in crisis due to financial crunch," said Sharma.
Sharma said that he would continue his mission of serving needy people and more such families living in Patoli Brahmana would be provided ration in the coming days since the lockdown period will continue till April 14. |
