BMS demands ration material for migrant labourers

Jammu, Mar 31; Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh has appealed to LG Garish Chander Murmu and advisor Farooq Khan for giving directions to labour department for providing Ration material kits and other assistance to migrant labourers living in slums across the state in war footing from the Rs 600 crores Laying with Jammu and Kashmir Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board collected as cess for the welfare of workers and this fund must be used liberally during this corona crises and services of labour unions and social organisation can be utilised for the same and BMS Voluntarily ready to assist in this cause, BMS appreciated for providing Rs 1000/- to eligible one lakh seventy thousand Regd worker and further demanded that for conducting enquiry why only 550 workers worker identified by the ALC Reasi where as in district Reasi more than 7500 workers are registered and have bank details of all the workers.
It is further demanded that strict directions may kindly be issued to all the factories, labour supplier contractors and other establishments to make payment through NEFT on average basis of last month salary within two three days said in a press release.
