Rajouri, Apr 1: The lockdown restrictions continued across Rajouri district on Wednesday with police also took action against violators who were found violating the orders of authorities.
In its media statement, district police office Rajouri informed that during routine patrolling in Dareri village of Manjakote, team headed by Executive Magistrate Manjakote Mohammad Sageer and SHO Manjakote Manzoor Kohli found a shop open in violation of DMs order after which shop owner Mohammad Ayaz son of Mohammad Hanief resident of Dareri have been booked in a case FIR 48/2020 under relevant sections of law. Similarly, a tipper JK11 8335 was found plying on road in Kallar area after which its driver Sanjay Kumar son of Jia Lal resident of Bathuni have been booked and vehicle has been seized by police team headed by Incharge Police Post Chatyar Chingus, SI Sukhvir Singh.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Chandan Kohli said that the five villages of Manjakote that were declared as red zone by authorities have been sealed completely with check points laid on all possible roads and walking routes in these villages and police in assisting the civil administration in best possible manner to carry out screening and sanitization in the area.
