Early Times Report

Kathua, Apr 1: In violation of norms, a contractual employee posted at Mini-Secretariat Kathua has leaked sensitive official letters and communications on social media allegedly to trigger communal tension.
Sources revealed to Early Times that the contractual employee, currently posted in Deputy Commissioner’s office is violating the service norms by leaking all official letters and communications, including those that have potential to disturb the law and order situation in the district.
“He (employee) runs a page on Facebook and is continuously putting all letters on it,” they said.
Sources claimed that recently the employee circulated a letter mentioning names of those people who had attended a religious gathering in New Delhi.
They said that employee is working on the behest of a group whose sole intention is to create communal problem in this district.
“One one side the world and country are fighting against COVID19 but on the other hand this employee is trying to disturb the law and order situation in the district,” they said.
They said that leaking letters on social media sites can fan communal tension. “Leaking such letters on social media sites can have disastrous repercussions and can create law and order issues in the district. Administration must plug the holes and must take action against this employee who without any authority is leaking the sensitive information,” they added.
Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Om Parkash, assured that he will look into the matter and take appropriate action against the employee if found guilty.
