Reasi, Apr 3: In view of lockdown, District Police Reasi has established a helpline number to help the elderly people and handicapped. The helpline number is 9596974434 for people residing in district Reasi and its motive is to provide a prompt and dependable service to the elderly people and handicaps especially during this period of lockdown and restrictions. The people can avail help from the number by sending SMS and by making calls. If any elderly person who is alone and helpless and needs medicines ,doctors help, food and any other daily use essential items he can contact on the above given number or send a message through SMS.
Immediate action will be taken to provide help to the needy. A selected team of volunteers as well as selected police officials are available with every police station of the district who will be assisting in this noble cause”, the press release, reads.
