| Dy Mayor JMC distributes flour to NGO, Casual Labourers | | |  Early times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: Amid the 21 days Lock Down in India to fight the COVID-19, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation conducted sanitization drive in ward no. 1 during which the roads and lanes were sanitized and disinfected by the spraying of disinfectant during the drive to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Also Adv. Purnima Sharma on humanitarian basis distributed flour bags among the NGO and Casual Labourers in ward no. 1. As the daily wagers, labourers, auto drivers can't earn a living amid the ongoing lockdown, so Adv. Purnima Sharma distributed flour bags in order to make sure that no one from ward no. 1 has to suffer during this lockdown and as this lockdown is a preventive measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). Deputy Mayor appealed to the locals to stay indoors and cooperate with the efforts of Government and Police that are trying their best to stop the further spread of this pandemic.
