Dy Mayor JMC distributes flour to NGO, Casual Labourers 4/3/2020 10:38:28 PM Early times Report Jammu, Apr 3: Amid the 21 days Lock Down in India to fight the COVID-19, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation conducted sanitization drive in ward no. 1 during which the roads and lanes were sanitized and disinfected by the spraying of disinfectant during the drive to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Also Adv. Purnima Sharma on humanitarian basis distributed flour bags among the NGO and Casual Labourers in ward no. 1. As the daily wagers, labourers, auto drivers can't earn a living amid the ongoing lockdown, so Adv. Purnima Sharma distributed flour bags in order to make sure that no one from ward no. 1 has to suffer during this lockdown and as this lockdown is a preventive measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
