Human Forum for Nature & Mankind distributes ration

Jammu, Apr 5: Continuing with its efforts to supplement government activities in providing free ration items to poor & needy families, the Jammu team of We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind, a Public Charitable Trust, distributed ration items and face masks to 110 families, today, at Jallochack and Gole Gujral Jammu.
At Jallochack, relief items kits each comprising wheat flour bags, Daal, Mustard Oil, Mirch, Haldi, Salt and face masks were distributed among 100 families as identified by the Jammu District Police Authorities. Part of ration items were arranged by Sarveshwar Group, J&K’s leading rice exporters. The relief distribution at Jallochack was coordinated by K. Y S Manhas Chairman We The Human, S. Prem Singh Chief Spokesperson and S. Ajab Singh & S. Sukhdev Singh, both members of the Executive Body We The Human and Sub Inspector Vikas Hans Incharge Police Post Sainik Colony. Today’s relief distribution was done under guidance of SSP Jammu Sridhar Patil IPS.
K Y S Manhas Chairman “We The Human” informed that the trust shall continue with its efforts to reach to the needy & poor in this catastrophic situation caused by Pandemic COVID19. Though the trust has started relief activities in four districts of J&K viz., Jammu, Udhampur, Srinagar and Budgam in close coordination with the districts administration but utmost precautions are being taken regarding social distancing and other norms in the present lockdown.
S. Prem Singh Chief Spokesperson of the trust made an humble appeal to philanthropists and local business community members to come forward to donate ration & other items to the trust, so that a large number of families, in distress, may be covered and provided with day to day ration items in this serious situation of national disaster.
