JKAP hails amendment in domicile law, Altaf Bukhari's efforts hailed

JAMMU, Apr 5: Welcoming amendment in the domicile order, Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leaders in the winter capital have hailed the efforts of their Party President Syed Altaf Bukhari convincing the Union Government to amend the earlier domicile and provided reservation in all levels of Government jobs to the domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir.
"When all other political parties were silent, JKAP President Syed Altaf Bukhari was the first to take initiatives after expressing his strong resentment over the discriminatory nature of earlier domicile order where level - 4 Government jobs were reserved for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir," said JKAP's senior leaders, Manjit Singh, and Vikram Malhotra. Both the leaders welcomed the amendment and thanked on behalf of the youth of Jammu division to Altaf Bukhari with whose initiative, the Government of India amended the earlier domicile order. The JKAP leaders thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval for their support and amendment in the earlier domicile. The JKAP leaders said "Jammu and Kashmir lacks job opportunities in private sectors bring hilly terrain and suffering from militancy since last three decades. There was urgent need to amend and reserve jobs for the youth." "When JKAP President Syed Altaf Bukhari initiated efforts and criticized the earlier domicile in strong words, BJP leaders justified discrimination with Jammu's youth," they said.
