SUF condoles demise of Nirmal Singh

JAMMU, Apr 5: S. Sudershan Singh Wazir Chairman Sikh United Front J&K along with various Sikh Organizations J&K has expressed their condolences over the demise of Padma Shri recipient, highly intellectual Raagi ji 'Bhai Nirmal Singh Ji' died on Thursday, on April 2 due to deadly coronavirus . His death has come as a huge shock and a big loss to Sikh Community. Sixty seven year old Former Hazoori Raagi Nirmal Ji was tested positive of COVID-19 and died of a cardiac arrest. He knew more than thirty raags in Gurbani of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and was a revered raagi in The Golden Temple, Amritsar. His spiritual and melodious voice shall be missed by everyone. "His voice was soulful, and transported you to the realm of spirituality," Wazir on the behalf of Whole Sikh Community of J&K remorse the death of Bhai Nirmal Singh ji and prayed to the God to give the strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss to them. Wazir condemned the denial of cremation to the mortal remains of Bhai Nirmal Singh Ji had caused deep resentment in the minds of the Sikh community and the Punjab government must take immediate steps to assuage their sentiments. He said it was condemnable that no action had been taken against all those who had locked the cremation ground at Verka. "Swift action should be taken by the State government to send out a clear message that it does not condone this insult to the Sikh community,"
