PDP refuses to mend its way, tries to instigate people against new domicile law

Early Times Report
jammu, Apr 5: Even after getting disintegrated, Peoples Democratic Party seems to be in no mood to give up its rhetoric and is still trying to instigate the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
A PDP leader on Sunday issued a statement asking the people and political parties not to welcome the new domicile law. Hitting out at various political parties for welcoming Centre's move the PDP leader in a statement said, "These players in Kashmir are making this an issue of jobs. And this is sinister. It is not about jobs. It is about defining the domicile. And the text of the gazette notification seems to retrospective. What can be more demeaning than the fact that domicile would be given to people registered as a migrant here in Jammu and Kashmir."
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "It seems that PDP leaders are still day dreaming and are trying to send a message that jobs have got nothing to do with the issue. These leaders are once again toeing the line of the separatists and are trying to create confusion in Kashmir."
He said, "The PDP at present is in disarray with their president, Mehbooba Mufti, and few others still being under detention. Others who were a part of the PDP have deserted the party and have moved on."
The analyst said, "The Centre needs to take a note of the statements of the PDP leaders, who are not in detention and are trying to instigate the people at one or other pretext."
He said, "Someone needs to tell these so-called mainstream leaders that situation has changed drastically post August 5, 2019, and Kashmir has been integrated with the Union of India fully. There are no issues left which can be discussed."
An observer said, "The first domicile law which was announced by the Centre reserved only class-IV jobs for the domiciles of J&K and it evoked sharp reaction. The Centre realized that it has not gone well with the people and it amended the law within 24-hours. According to the amended domicile law all the jobs have been reserved for the domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir. It seems fair enough."
He said, "The Kashmir centric leaders who still are opposing the move are trying to create a discord between the government and the people. Such leaders are a threat to peace and they should be shown their right place."
