Jammu, Apr 5: In view of the current situation regarding possible spread of Covid 19, Jammu Municipal Corporation is taking measures to stop the spread of corona virus by giving special focus on sanitation of the entire city and intensive thermal fogging and spraying has been conducted to sanitize the atmosphere. Directions have been given to Health Officer, JMC to conduct spray of Sodium Hypo Solution in the all the areas falling within the limits of Jammu Municipal Corporation especially in red zone areas on war footing to keep check on spread of virus. Besides, daily sanitization is also conducted in all the city hospitals of Jammu like Govt. Medical College, Bakshi Nagar, Sarwal Hospital, Gandhi Nagar Hospital, SMGS Hospital, CD Hospital, Super Specialty Hospital and all the Quarantine Centres etc. The special drives are being conducted in all the residential & commercial areas of Jammu City to keep control on spread of such virus. As far as the security and safety of the front line workers is concerned, JMC has provided all kinds of safety equipments like Hand gloves, masks, hand sanitizers, soaps, goggles, gum boots and personal protective equipment gears (PPEG) to ensure their safety. The Commissioner, JMC is personally monitoring each and everything on ground. |
