| AJKSKS distributes food items among needy | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 5: Amid nationwide lockdown in the wake of the corona virus outbreak, the All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha on Friday distributed ration and food items to the needy who are struggling to earn a single meal a day. The President of the Sabha F.C Bhagat said that All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha is working for the social cause from last 40 years and during the current outbreak the Sabha out of its available resources has decided to help 1000 needy families by way of distributing essential food items. On this occasion the Sabha today started with 125 needy families of tehsil Bishnah.
The President of the sabha said that the selection of the families has been done by the local representatives of the village/panchayat adopting criteria thereby so that the genuine families are helped out during the outbreak of the corono virus. He further assured that 1000 such families shall be covered by the ending April. The President of the Sabha along with his team also appealed the public at large to take all precautionary measures during this outbreak and most importantly to maintain social distancing till further orders from the authorities concerned. The sabha further appealed that in the present situation we all should come forward to help the poor and the needy. |
