4/9/2020 11:49:25 PM
Early Times Report
jammu, Apr 9: With numbers positive Tablighi Jamaaties continue to pour in across J&K, administration of the Union Territory (UT) of J&K is going to redevise its strategy to trace those hiding persons who had attended congregation held at Nizamudin in Delhi in the month of March.
Credible sources said that all efforts of the administration to convince the hiding Tablighi activists to come forward and disclose their travel history have failed so authorities left with no other option but to devise a fresh strategy.
Sources said that authorities have singled out nearly 2000 Tablighi activists who have contacted with those who had attended Nizamudin event so tracing these activists was must to check further spread of the dreaded COVID-19.
Apart from taking help of intelligence agencies, authorities have also decided to take help of local people to share information about presence of Jamaat activists by educating the people that by not disclosing their travel history these activists were put lives of people at the risk.
"Services of the intelligence agencies will be taken to detect Jamaat activities who have been hiding in different areas of J&K", sources said.
As per reports in some sections of media, the UT administration has already launched aggressive campaign to trace the hiding Tablighi activists. The campaign to locate the hiding Tablighis has been intensified as during the last three days most of the cases related to Tablighi have been tested positive. Special teams-comprising civil and police officers along with the sleuths of intelligence agencies have been constituted to trace the Jamaat activists.
