| Doda Administration starts mass distribution of face masks | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Apr 9: In continuation to the efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 across the district, Doda administration today started mass distribution of face masks across rural areas as well as among the officials working in various govt departments. Near about 17000 face masks have been supplied to various departments like Municipal Council/ Committees, Health, Para Military Forces, Police, PHE, PDD, Food Supplies and GMC Doda whose officials are working as frontline functionaries to combat COVID 19. District Administration has roped in all the BDC Chairpersons of the district for further distribution of face masks among the general public of their respective areas.
DDC also informed that this is the first installment of face masks which is being provided to the concerned BDCs for further distribution among the rural areas of their respective areas and will be provided more in upcoming days positively.
District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar D Doifode said that district administration is not going to leave any stone unturned in order to provide a safe and secure environment to the public. He further made an appeal to the public not to violate the restrictions imposed in view of lockdown and to cooperate with the District Administration.
