SDM Chatroo holds meet with religious heads | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, May 22: Ahead of holly festival of Eid ul Fitar, Sub Divisional Magistrate Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar today held a meeting with various religious heads and Imams of various Masjids falling under the jurisdiction of Sub Division and urged upon them to officer Eid Nimaz at homes to prevent the spread of COVID 19. SDM also emphasis on the religious heads to maintain social distancing and promote the use of mask among the masses along with the use of sanitiser beside urged them to follow the guidelines issued by the administration from time to time. Earlier SDM Chatroo along with MohAmjad Ashrif (JKPS) DYSP /SHO Chatroo, Tehsildar Chatroo and other officials also conducted the market checking during which the team checked vegetables shops, chicken shops and other groceries shops and directed for sanitisation and proper hygiene. The officials also held a meeting with Beopar Mandal and seek their cooperation in proper implementation of the guidelines need to be followed during the lockdown period. The market checking team also collected the fine to the tune of Rs.7800 from the violators beside also seized vehicle selling live chickens at exorbitant rates. The shopkeepers are instructed to sell the products as per the fixed rate list issued by the administration. |
