Early Times Report

Jammu, May 22 : Many skeletons are coming out from cub-board to expose rampant corruption during previous PDP-BJP government, the tenure which is considered as black-chapter in the history of Jammu province.
As per some records, PDP led previous coalition regime, in which BJP was equal partner, amount spent on the renovation of palatial bungalows of ministers was much more than allocated to provide basic equipment in different hospitals of Jammu province.
Credible sources instead of taking efforts to provide necessary equipment in hospitals of Jammu province, priority of the then BJP ministers in the then coalition regime, was to accommodate more and more luxuries for them. At this crucial time when health workers are fighting deadly coronavirus, non-availability of advanced equipment was the main hurdle. From March 2015 to June 2018, during the tenure of PDP-BJP no serious effort was taken to improve health infrastructure in Jammu province.
Credible sources said that Centre had repeatedly asked PDP-BJP regime to prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) to enhance health facilities in Jammu province but ministers of the same government were allegedly busy in corrupt practices.
While as PDP ministers in the coalition were least concerned about improving health infrastructure in Jammu province, the BJP ministers had no time to solve peoples’ issue because their priorities were entirely different.
Credible sources said that Union Health Ministry had asked former BJP ministers to prepare DPRs about enhancing health facilities in all the 10 districts of Jammu province but they (BJP ministers) could not spare time because for them these things were of non-importance and their priority was to enjoy power.
