Early Times Report

Kathua, May 22: Former minister and President DCC Kathua Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today criticized the domicile law and termed it as betrayal and mockery with the future of the youth of J&K. While lambasting Manohar said is this the strong domicile which whole BJP leadership was saying that rights in jobs and lands will be safeguarded for the locals but on the contrary the Domicile law notified by the Govt of J&K UT has fully unmasked the anti- youth face of the BJP and its leadership as notified domicile law is profusely against their assurances and commitments.
He said the recent domicile law has opened the doors open for outsiders in recruitment in govt jobs which is further injustice with the locals. Manohar Further said since past almost a year J&K has been deprived of fast internet services and students and youth has be depend on low speed internet and in this how come youth of J&k compete with the people from rest of the country.
Manohar further said that thousands of people from other states which include labour force, construction workers, traders had been staying in J&K for the last several years and the new rules would automatically make them eligible not only for Domicile Certificates but also for Govt jobs in J&K which is injustice with the local youth as govt jobs are only option available in J&K in absence of private sector and industries in J&K.
Not only that the opening of jobs for Central Govt employees of other States as also those outside students who pass their 10th and 12th class with a minimum stay of seven years as they would also become eligible for Govt jobs thereby depriving the local youth of even the negligible job avenues in J&K. He further told BJP leadership to come clean on the injustice met out to the youth of the state.
