POONCH, May 29: A pregnant woman from Gultha village in tehsil Mendhar of district Poonch tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Sources said that the woman who has been tested positive had no travel history, adding that her husband is serving in J&K Police and was deployed at Bhimber Gali (BG).
As many as 69 persons including her husband, relatives and others, who were suspected to be in contact with the infected woman had been screened.
Gultha Central, Harni, Upper Dhargloon, Harmutta and all the adjoining villages fall under Red-Zone.
Meanwhile, Mendhar reported four more positive cases while 26 cops have been sent to quarantine at Poonch Isolation Centre.
