JAMMU, May, 29: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma today reviewed the progress on pending issues of Change of Land Use (CLU) for new retail outlets/petrol pumps here at a meeting held with the concerned officers.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Sushma Chauhan, Chief Conservator of Forest, K Ramesh Kumar, Regional Director Pollution Control Board, Dr Syed Nodeem Hussain, DIG JKS, B S Tuti, AC Central, Jatinder Singh, besides senior functionaries of Health, PWD, PDD, Fire Services and other concerned officials while Deputy Commissioners Samba and Kathua attended the meeting through video conference.
The meeting had threadbare discussion on each case of the respective districts besides deliberating upon the factors and measures to further streamlining of the process.
The concerned officers apprised the Div Com of status of all pending cases in their respective jurisdictions.
The Divisional Commissioner sought case wise status of all the pending cases and directed the concerned officers to issue NOCs pending with their respective departments at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner reviewed progress on construction of bunkers in the border areas during another meeting which was attended by senior functionaries of executing agencies while Deputy Commissioners of Kathua, Samba, Rajouri and Poonch attended the meeting through video conferencing.
The Deputy Commissioners apprised the Div Com of the present status of bunkers in their respective districts. It was informed that the works have resumed in all the districts.
The Div Com also reviewed supply of construction material to these districts and directed the DCs and executive agencies to further expedite the pace of work on construction of bunkers for completion at the earliest.
