COVID-19: Hygiene Kits distributed among rural females

Jammu, 30th May 2020: We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind distributed 90 COVID19 Hygiene Kits among rural females hailing from different villages of Samba district, today, at Kristu Jyoti Hospital Samba. Each COVID19 Hygiene Kit comprised of 200 ml hands sanitiser, two disinfecting soaps, Reusable Clothes Facemask and ORS sachet. Speaking on the occasion Retd Principal District and Session Judge K Y S Manhas Chairman of We The Human, a public charitable trust, exhorted upon the rural females to spread awareness among members of their families about measures to be taken to avoid infection of CORONA virus. Calling them to adopt “SSMS” in life i.e., regular washing of hands with soap, use sanitizer when soap & water is not available, wear face mask and keep social distancing. Sister Jaya Secretary Kristu Jyoti Hospital Samba expressed gratitude towards “We The Human” for reaching out to poor rural females with COVID-19 Hygiene Kits. By way of distributing hygiene kits and spreading awareness among rural ladies, the government efforts for making the state CORONA free are being supplemented by the trust.
Among others, Pavitra Panth Office Secretary of We The Human was also present on the occasion. Information material about safety from COVID19 was also distributed among the rural females.
