JAMMU, May 31: Sewa Samiti (Vrid Ashram) Akhnoor remembered founder and chartered President Dev Raj Wadehra on his 18th death anniversary in the Sewa Ashram premises.
Members and residents of Sewa Samiti garlanded the portrait of Dev Raj Wadehra and kept two minutes silence to pay tribute to the noble soul who find a need to start Vrid Ashram in Akhnoor. Sweets were distributed among residents of Sewa Samiti.
Dr K C Bhagat, past president threw light on life and contribution of Wadehra. Apart from residents of Sewa Samiti, Vice President Dr Tilak Raj Gupta, Secretary Dig Vijay, Treasurer Rakesh Gupta Jt secretary D N Abrol, manager Ravinder Khajuria, executive members Jugal Kishore Gupta and Chander Udhay Khajuria were also present on the occasion.
