| Wearing face mask can limit corona spread even at home: TMF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 31: Team Mask Force (TMF) Chairman Vijay Sharma in a statement released here today said that wearing masks can definitely prevent spreading coronavirus infections besides in public even while one is at home. Referring to a new study that wearing mask in area of community spread is 79% effective before start of symptoms in oneself and help prevent spreading infections. According to peer review observation of Chinese families in Beijing accepted for publication in BMJ Global Health an on line journal Disinfection was 77% effective in spreading transmission, the study found close daily contact, such as eating meals at a table or watching TV together revealed chances of others getting infected 18 fold while diarrheas as a symptom in patient zero quadrupled the infection risk showed the review of behavioural and hygiene factor in the home environment, added the Chairman TMF.
