Formation of JKSEBCC unconstitutional: PCC OBC Deptt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 3: OBC Department of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) J&K expressed its resentment over the winding up of Backward Classes Commission constituted under state Backward Classes Commission 1997 and formation of new commission namely Jammu Kashmir Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Commission (JKSEBCC) headed by Justice G D Sharma as its Chairman and also two members retired IFS RL Bharti and retired IPS Muneer Khan. In a press statement, Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra, Chairman OBC Deptt PCC J&K stated that, the innocent people of J&K have been befooled by the Modi-led union Government as well as by the UT Administration of J&K, as the said unconstitutional commission has nothing for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) people who are educationally, socially, underprivileged Classs always remained deprived of their social educational and political reservation, who have been continuously struggling for their legal and Constitutional rights. Adv Dogra further added that after the abrogation of Article 370 & 35A the weaker section of other Backward classes had expected the Modi led Government of India would provide a scope for the said section by gifting them Mandal Commission Report which guarantees 27% reservation but instead got betrayed by the Government.
