NPSU castigates hike in petro prices | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 31: Young Panther activists today protested against the rising fuel prices and raised voice in support of their demand for roll back of hike. Partap Singh Jamwal said that the hike has proved to be a gift to the already burdened common people on the occasion of the first anniversary of the NDA-II. He said the steepest fuel price hike will have cascading effects on other essential commodities effecting people already suffering from the exhaustive policies of the Modi government. He said we have been fighting against the government policies and also Covid 19. Instead of finding out a solution, the government has further burdened us. Partap demanded that to combat the rising fuel prices the central government must reduce excise duty on petrol and diesel. Another demand is to bring it under the ambit of GST which will ensure that prices are uniform across the country Tarsem Singh Rakwal (Distt. President YP) & Bhanu Partap Singh Goria (Distt. President YP) accusing the govt. of turning a “blind eye to the genuine demands” and they demanded to the goverment immediatelly roll back its decision. Vikrant Sharma (Distt. Vice President YP), Nikhil Sharma, Ravi Kumar, S Honey Singh, Adesh Kumar, Ansh Mehra, Lovish Sharma were also present. |
