GDC Chenani organises Intra college poster making competition

Udhampur, May 31: Govt. Degree College, Chenani, Udhampur organized an Intra-College Poster making competition, ‘Kalakaari’ through Electronic Mode as a tribute to COVID-19 Warriors themed as “HUMANITY vs COVID-19”. The students of the College displayed their unmatched skills by crafting out posters digitally with the help of latest technologies as well as manually by drawing, sketching, painting, collage making etc. and participated with full enthusiasm and zeal. The results of the program were declared today in which the first Prize was bagged by Reeia Sharma, Pinki Devi was awarded the second Prize while Abhishek Gupta was given the third Prize. The three consolation prizes went to Ms. Chanchal Devi, Deep Kumar and Pranav Gupta.
Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College announced that Merit E-certificates shall be sent to all awardees while all the participants shall also get e-certificates for participation. She thanked the adjudicators of the program, Prof. Yash Paul Sharma, Professor of Botany, University of Jammu, Dr. Preeti Sharma, Asst. Prof., School of Biotechnology, SMVDU, Katra and Dr. Pallavi Sachdeva, Institute of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu for taking out time for analysing and presenting results. Prof. Yash Paul Sharma applauded the students for their motivation, creativity and competencies.
Prof. Sunil Kumar, Prof. Maneesh Verma and Prof. Mohinder Manhas were the organizing committee members for the program.
