| MMF laments Govt for continuing disparity with Jammu | | |

JAMMU, June 1: Mission Mask Force (MMF) Chairman Vijay Sharma appealed both the J&K UT as well as central governments to come out of Psychological phobia of the then Kashmir-centric politics promoted by the earlier dispensations. Sharma lamented that despite abrogation of article 370, both J&K UT administration and central government’s appeasement policies are still being practiced while the assurances to to pave the way to do away with regional disparities in particular with Jammu Region have been put to back burner. In view of prevailing pandemic of coronavirus instead of helping the people of Jammu region by extending amnesty scheme, the PDD has shown discriminatory attitude towards Jammuites. As against 115000 smart meters, 80000 were being installed in Jammu only to ensure early revenue from it instead of giving temporary relief measures of delay in payments of tariffs to hard hit business community vis a vis domestic electricity consumers. |
