MP Manhas donated hundred PPE Kits at SMGS Hospital

Jammu, June 2: Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas in presence of Administrator GMC and Associated Hospitals JKAS Officer Amit Sharma, handed over one hundred PPE Kits to Superintendent SMGS Hospital Dr. Manoj Chalotra to tackle the COVID -19 situation in a better and a safe way.
As SMGS Hospital has been witnessing huge rush of patients this time especially of the pregnancy cases which are being attended on priority and for the purpose Medical Staff need to put on the PPE Kits on Priority, as and when MP Manhas was apprised about the needs of Staff posted in the hospital, one hundred approved PPE Kits were arranged to be handed over to the Superintendent of the hospital for the safety of medical staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Administrator Amit Sharma and Superintendent Manoj Chalotra thanked MP Manhas for such a goodwill gesture and an important step for the safety of doctors and paramedic staff posted in the hospital delivering their duties with discipline and
dedication.
MP Manhas, while addressing the medical staff firstly congratulated them for delivering their duties during this tough time and for being a warrior while saving the precious lives. He added that Doctors are next to God it’s just not an proverb now, it’s practically proven as how strongly they have stood against this pandemic throughout the world for saving the humanity. In India they have been facing tough time to tackle such a situation all of a sudden as we have been in a developing mode especially health care facilities, but besides all the hurdels our doctors and para- medical staff have been performing better than the best and for that they deserve to be appreciated and applauded.
He also added that in near future more and more protective gears will be provided in other COVID Dedicated hospitals for the safety and security of the Medical staff.
