Early Times Report

Sunderbani, June 2: Taking issue of two COVID-19 positive cases lightly, Sunderbani Administration has been playing with the lives of the people by not conducting tests, and not even quarantined who were in touch with them. Sources told Early Times that two COVID-19 positives cases were reported in Tehsil Sunderbani in last 24 hours. One case was reported from main Sunderbani city, wherein a male person was reported positive while a female from Panchayat Nallah, which is 20 kms from Sunderbani city was found positive. A team of administration reached village Nallah and contained the village but didn’t conduct test of persons who were in touch with the positive patients and even not ordered to quarantine her family members. Locals alleged that administration has been taking the matter very lightly and questioned that if more cases were reported from village in coming days then administration will be responsibility for its laxity. They said that the son of positive female is a tractor driver and ferries building material in the areas, and have possibility of being affected. ADC Sunderbani Vinod Kumar, when contacted, he asked to talk to medical official as conducting test is the job of health department.
