| SDM conducts surprise checking of homes under quarantine at Khaltsi | | |

LEH, June 3: As part of the continued steps being taken by the District Administration, the surveillance teams of Khaltsi Block headed by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Tsering Motup today conducted surprise checking of homes under quarantine at various villages in Khaltsi Sub-division.
During the surprise checking, SDM Motup said that people in quarantine should strictly follow necessary quarantine measures and accord maximum priority to social distancing, personal hygiene and hygiene of the surrounding to contain the spread of novel Corona virus.
A number of fine were also imposed for non-wearing of face masks in public places and work places.
The SDM also expressed gratitude to the people for cooperating with the Administration in observing the lockdown and home quarantine measures in letter and spirit and further appealed them to follow the requisite norms and guidelines pertaining to COVID-19 pandemic so that the risk of the virus spread is avoided. Others who accompanied SDM was Block Medical Officer, Block Development Officer, Executive Engineer PWD and other Sub-Divisional level officers.
