Jammu Police reunites ‘missing’ teenager with family

Jammu, June 3: Police on Wednesday reunited ‘missing’ teenager with his family in Miran Sahib area here on city outskirts. Police spokesman here said that on June 1, a woman namely, Wazira Bibi of Ganda, Miran Sahib lodged a complaint at Police Station Miran Sahib that her son namely Mohammad Shahid,14, left home at about 1800 hours and did not return. A case was registered and search for missing boy was initiated, said the spokesman, adding that police teams were constituted and deputed to different locations along with the photograph of missing boy to trace him.
“On Wednesday morning, with the strenuous efforts of the team, the ‘missing’ boy was traced from Greater Kailash area and handed over to his parents after completing necessary formalities,” said the spokesman.
