| DFO Marwah seize illegal timber in the Udil Range | | |

Kishtwar June 3: Acting on a top off, DFO Marwah Vijay Kumar, Range officer Udil, and Zakir Hussain Block officer Sigdi Bhatta seized illegal timber which includes Deodar in the form of poles in Sigdi Bhatta. As per the details available with Early Times, no sooner DFO and his team received intimation about this illicit activity, they immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the illegal timber.
DFO Marwah Vijay Kumar said that the smugglers are trying to exploit the current situation and wanted to inflict harm on forest property added that the team tried to chase the culprits but they had left the spot. Moreover, he assured that culprits would be dealt with iron hands.
Vijay Kumar (DFO Marwaha ) and his tram is doing commendable job to curb illicit practices for long time and he has been successful in this direction. |
