ISM Kishtwar distributes Immunity Booster medicines

KISHTWAR, June 3: On the directions of District Magistrate Kishtwar, Rajinder Singh Tara and on the instructions of Director, Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM), J&K, immunity boosting AYUSH medicines were today distributed free of cost among 200 employees of DC office by ISM.
The process of free distribution of these AYUSH immunity boosters took place here in the conference Hall of DC office in presence of Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik.
Others who remained present during the distribution were Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pawan Parihar, Joint director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal and other officials.
The ADDC appreciated the doctors and paramedical staff of Indian Systems of Medicine ISM Kishtwar, who are on the fore front in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the district.
Around 13,487 beneficiaries including frontline workers of health, police and employees of various other departments have been provided with these medicines so far by the ISM AYUSH Kishtwar.
District Nodal Officer AYUSH Dr.Tariq Hussain and his team of doctors instructed employees about the mode of consumption and dosage of these immune boosting medicines. The employees were also made aware about the universal preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19 including regular hand washing, social distancing, coughing and sneezing etiquettes and other related precautions which need to be taken in present crises.
Pertinently, the process of distribution of immune boosting AYUSH medicines has also been initiated throughout the district by the AYUSH Officers at their respective place of postings.
