DLCW Rajouri distributes free stationery kits among girl students

RAJOURI, June 3: District Level Centre for Women, Rajouri distributed free 'Stationery Kits' among the needy school going girl students in Panchayat Fatehpur, Gurrian, Rajouri. The stationary kit included items like Notebooks, Pencil Box, Pens, Sharpeners, Erasers, Instrument Box etc.
Women Welfare Officer, Rajouri, Anum Mirza and District Coordinator Sanjana Thakur, who are frontline corona warriors came forward with their team and distributed free stationary kits among girl students of underprivileged section of Fatehpur area of Rajouri.
Anam Mirza, while distributing this said that the education of girl students has been affected due to Covid-19 pandemic and Govt is taking every initiative to provide some basic necessities to them.
Pertinent to mention that DLCW under Anam Mirza made students and parents aware about various Women Welfare Schemes, Women Helpline, Child Helpline, Various Scholarship Schemes, and also urged parents to open Sukanya Samridhi Accounts to accrue its various benefits.
The programme was conducted on the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri and under the supervision of Nodal officer of Beti Bachao Beti Padao (BBBP).
