Resume work on WSS Khanter, Bassoni villages

POONCH, June 4: The water supply Scheme in the villages of Khanater and Bossoni in Balakote tehsil of Mendhar Sub Divsion approved under Languishing Project. Department dropped pipes, motors and pumps a year ago but the work on these schemes once stopped could not resume till date for reasons best known to men at helms.
Peoples of these areas have suffered badly and had to face many hardships in their lives due to lack of basic amenities they added. Sarpanch from the Upper Dhargloon Er Majid Khatana disclosed that these schemes have been launched for the welfare of people living in these areas but due to lackadaisical approach of the concerned authorities these were not taken to their logical conclusion he alleged, adding people were not on the receiving end of benefits.
Meanwhile , Sarpanch Er Majid Khatana appealed to the higher authorities to resume work on water supply schemes which were defunct fir the last one year in Khanter and Bassoni villages at earliest.
