4 persons tested positive for COVID-19; 1 from Leh, 3 form Kargil

Leh, June 4: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, informed that Health department Leh yesterday received 66 sample reports from NCDC New Delhi. Out of the total sample reports, 01 Positive report and 38 Negative reports are of Leh district and 03 Positive and 24 Negative reports are of Kargil district.
The bulletin further stated that 32 sample reports were tested at COVID-19 Laboratory at Chuchot Yokma yesterday. Out of these, 29 samples are from Leh district and 03 samples are from Kargil district. All the sample reports are Negative for COVID.
The condition of all 45 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable. There are 09 active case in Leh district and 36 active cases in Kargil district.
Today 498 samples were sent to NCDC New Delhi for testing. Out of these 195 samples are of Leh district and 303 samples are of Kargil district.
238 passengers including drivers and helpers who came in trucks/Tankers and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitized.
The Health Workers at Upshi check post screened 81 passengers yesterday including drivers and helpers who came to Leh in 50 Tankers 19 Trucks and 02 light vehicles.
