DLSA Rajouri continues its fight against COVID-19, holds various activities

RAJOURI, June 5: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Rajouri, continued its fight against the spread of the pandemic Covid-19 by organizing various activities. The series of events were conducted under the aegis of the Chief Justice of J&K High Court, Justice Gita Mittal and Executive Chairman JKSLSA, Justice Rajesh Bindal and under the guidance of the Chairman, DLSA Rajouri, Jaffer Hussain Beg.
DLSA Rajouri through its Retainer Lawyers and Para Legal Volunteers did door to door awareness amongst local residents and fumigation and sanitization drives in various areas in Kakalote, Nowshera and Sunderbani with the help of Municipal Committees. DLSA Rajouri this week received many calls regarding ration, medicines and LPG Cylinders, transportation, old age pension, withdrawal of cash from Banks and ATMs from local residents and redressed all the grievances. The PLVs facilitated the local residents at the Ration Depots, outside banks, local market, health care centers etc. in maintaining social distancing in order to minimize the impact of Corona Virus. The PLVs distributed masks to the local residents and also made them understand to wear masks in crowded places, how to wash hands properly and to visit Doctor in case anyone has the symptoms like cough, cold or fever.
