JAMMU, June 6: All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha celebrated 622nd Kabir Jayanti at Kabir Bhawan, Chak-Avtara, Bishnah with great zest and fervor.
Due to the COVID-19 advisory and in view of the guidelines issued by UT Administration, the gathering was restricted while observing social distancing and other parameters in this regard.
President of “All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha”, FC Bhagat while addressing the gathering said that this day shall be celebrated as a beginning of the social revolution in India because the philosophy of kabir is irrespective of any religion, caste or creed and it is based on equality amongst all. He advised his followers to give up such inhuman practices as untouchability, feelings of high and low etc. The Sabha thereafter appeal to the public at large that all the district / block / village committees shall celebrate this function preferably at home or at safer places.
