KUPWARA, June 6: In an unprecedented way, the Covid-19 tested positive patients were seen dancing in one of the Kupwara quarantine center, as earlier the same type of the video had come to fore in Shopian district of south Kashmir, which is understood to be the positive gesture to keep themselves free from tension and other mental stresses.
At a time when positive cases are rapidly increasing in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, with 40 deaths that have occurred so far, panic is gripped among the general public and they want the government to impose strict restrictions in all means, so that people will not be allowed to move inter or intra district.
A local resident of Kupwara said that, this pandemic has snatched peace of mind from them, they are physically and mentally handicapped due to this deadly virus, but need of the hour is to fight with this disease with strong will.
We do understand the gravity of situation that has arisen due to this Covid, adding police and civil administration is also on toes, but one fails to understand how to overcome of this problem, according to him that, it is the general public that has to understand it is spreading at an alarming rate in Jammu and Kashmir, said a local resident of Kupwara on anonymity conditions.
When asked about today’s video that has gone on the social media networking site, he said that, Positive tested patients are already in fear, and it is better for them to keep themselves busy on some sort of work, like book reading, listening music and dance. However most people have appreciated these people as they believe it is a new trend to fight this deadly pandemic. Such actions are appreciable to avoid frustrations. It is a good way to fight this Covid-19, adding it is a nice technique to overcome the threat of Covid virus .It is better to dance than to get depressed due to Covid-19.
While as another facebook user has written that, it is one of the important approaches to deal with this virus and remain psychologically well. We must be strong enough to face further phases.
