Jammu, June 9: Members of NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organised a program to felicitate those who came forward to support during COVID 19 lock down for helping various sections of society. The members of NGO and President Tariq Shah gathered at their Head Office and felicitated Smt Arti Gupta who worked dedicatedly in supporting the NGO during the COVID 19 lock down when NGO was providing help to needy families and those who were struck here without work ,food and necessities.Speaking on the occasion , the President of NGO Tariq Shah said,” Our NGO had initiated help during COVID 19 Lock down by means of JAJD Rasoi through which dry ration and cooked food was provided to those who were stranded during lockdown.Our dedicated volunteers and many others have supported us to continue this. Our defence forces deserve salute for serving the nation in the front line and playing role in serving the civil society as well.Today we felicitated Smt Arti Gupta who worked whole heartedly with our NGO & supported us.She not only herself came in forward but also motivated her friends and some colleagues to support the NGO.We specially thank her and the contributions that came from Defence forces.She has been a good supporter of NGO. We thank our other volunteers also.Along with Arti Gupta and her family members the Vice President of NGO Smt Parveen Akhtar ,volunteers of NGO Sahil,Rajesh Kumar, Surjeet Singh,Faisil,Aqib, Ali and others were present.
