J&K Branch of ICAI organizes Plantation, Fitness Drive

Jammu, June 29: On the onset of “CA Week” from 28th of June 2020 & in continuation to its commitment for attaining social objectives, the J&K Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India commenced a series of social activities.
The J&K Branch of ICAI in collaboration with Green International Outlook T.A.L (NGO) organized tree plantation drive yesterday within the campus of ICAI Bhawan at Canal Road Jammu and also planted trees at nearby surroundings with an objective to contribute in having a Green & Clean Environment.
Earlier, the members of J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India also carried out various fitness activities such as running , cycling , Yoga etc. from their respective places in order to strengthen their immune system due to spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
The participants of said events were also felicitated with e – certificates.
CA. Lalit Kumar Gupta, Chairman, J&K branch of ICAI, thanked the team of, Green International Outlook (NGO) & members from CA fraternity who participated wholeheartedly in the drive. He informed that during CA week 2020, the J&K ICAI would also be holding other social drives such as Swatch Bharat Abhiyan , donation of essentials to fightback COVID-19 pandemic to under privileged people and also decided to spend a day with the inmates of “Balgran- A charitable home for Destitute Children’’ at Channi Rama, Jammu .
Green International Outlook (NGO) was represented by Dr. Ikagarcheet Singh & Dr Kiran P Sagwekar CA. Vinay Jamwal (Vice Chairman) , CA. Nakul Saraf (Secretary), CA. Shalay Razdan (Past Chairman) , along with number of Chartered Accountants & other team members of Green International outlook (NGO) participated in making the drive successful.
