Jammu, June 30: Adv. Purnima Sharma held Ayush Medical Camp in ward no. 01 with the help of Directorate of Indian System of Medicine Jammu. During the medical camp, residents were examined and a total of 500 medical kits contacting pack of 5 medicines each were distributed among the residents to boost the immunity and as a preventive measure against COVID-19.
The kits were distributed by the team of Doctors from Ministry of Ayush including Dr. Sukhpreet Kour(Specialist), Dr. Shefali Sharma(Medical Officer) and Dr. Adarsh Kunar(Senior Pharmacist). The medical camp was organised as a preventive measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus pandemic which is an ongoing global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), an novel infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2). Adv. Purnima Sharma, said that it is duty of everyone of us to contribute in any possible way, but at the same time, she insisted that the biggest contribution will be not to venture out of our homes unnecessarily. She simultaneously appealed to all for strictly adhering to the guidelines issued by the enforcement agencies to check the spread of Covid 19 (corona virus) infection.
