BARAMULLA, June 30: Out of 260, forty eight fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 622 active positive cases, 1691 are cumulative, 20 recovered and 22 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir till date.
According to the district wise positive cases as on June 30, 2020 (Tuesday), In Baramulla district, again there was an increase with 44 fresh positive cases including 01 travelers and 43 others were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to 860, and also an increase in the active positive cases that stands at 463, and cumulative recovered cases are 381, while 16 deaths including of today have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, only 01 fresh positive cases have been reported today, while there are 537 cumulative cases, 124 are active positive cases, 17 have recovered as on date, and 05 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 03 fresh positive cases including 01 traveler and 02 others were reported today, whereas 294 are cumulative cases, 35 are active positive, 258 are cumulative recovered including 03 recoveries as on date and 01 death has occurred so far.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla Tuesday directed Police to register FIR against three hotels at Baramulla town for violating the lockdown orders.
In an order issued to police, DC said "it is to inform that three hotels including Hotel Dawat, Hotel Shahi Sakoon and Hotel Lovely located in Main Market Baramulla have been found violating the SOP’s by way of opening their hotels."
An order copy vide no: DMB/PS/2844-45 Dated: 29/06/2020, said that, "You are requested to kindly lodge FIR against all the three hotels with immediate effect for violating the SOP’s,”
