GDC Akhnoor organizes inter-college quiz competition

JAMMU, June 30: Department of Commerce, Government Degree College, Akhnoor organized an “Inter- College Online Quiz Competition in Commerce” for BCom 6th semester students under the supervision of College Principal, Dr Namarta.
81 students from different colleges within the UT of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the quiz competition. In this event, Sehaj Kour Sahni of GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Shipali from GCW Udhampur, secured first position with 98 percent score, whereas second position was shared by Suresh Sharma and Shivani Sharma from GDC Akhnoor along with Ritika Aggarwal from GCW Gandhi Nagar, Shilpa Devi from GCW Udhampur and Somil Gupta from SPMR College of Commerce with 96 percent score, and third position was clinched by Vishali Sharma of GDC Akhnoor along with Pallavi Devi from GCW Udhampur with a score of 94 percent.
E-certificates were awarded to all the participants who secured 70 percent and above marks.
The event was coordinated by Prof Sonia Bhau, HOD Commerce and Kanchan Kumari, Faculty in Commerce.
