NIC trains Agriculture, allied deptts in e-Auction system

JAMMU, July 1: One day Training on e-auction system for officers of Agriculture, Horticulture and CAD departments was today organized by National Informatics Center (NIC) here at Krishi Bhawan.
The Training was organized by Joint Directorate of Agriculture (Inputs) Jammu on the directions and guidance of Director Agriculture Jammu, Inder Jeet. Pertinently this was the first of its kind training held by NIC in Union Territory of J&K.
Technical session was conducted by resource persons from J&K National Informatics Center (NIC), Sh Deepak Bajaj and Sumit Kapoor, Senior Programmers. Practical Demonstration on various aspects of e-auction including online registration, uploading of required information, receiving and filtering the requests by the bidders etc were covered in length during the training. The electronic auction system is cost/ time saving and creates a dynamic environment for easier business.
Those who participated in the training include Accounts officer, Directorate of Agriculture, Kiran Kumari, A O CAD, Suneeta Gupta, ASCO (I&P) Vikas Padha, AAO DAJ, Neetu Kak, SMS (SDL) Rajesh Verma, SCA (I&P) Sandeep Dogra, computer Programmer, Sahil Gandotra and I/C Plant Health Clinic, Arun Khajuria besides other officers from Agriculture / Horticulture and Command Area Development Department.
During interactive session all queries raised by the participants regarding e-auction were satisfactorily answered by the resource persons.
Speaking at the Inaugural Session, Joint Director (Inputs), Anil Nargotra enjoined upon the participants to take full advantage of training programme to learn in detail process involved in e-auction as it is the need of hour in wake of COVID-19 Pandemic. He further said e- auction is new dimension in e-governance programme and it will create more transparency and operational ease in implementation of Government sector services.
