JAMMU, July 1: Employees of LIC of India in Jammu & Kashmir under the banner of NZIEA Srinagar Division celebrated foundation day of All India Insurance Employees’ Association (AIIEA) in offices of LIC of India in Jammu & Kashmir. All the members of NZIEA affiliated to AIIEA wore badges highlighting its 70th Foundation Day falling.
On this occasion, flag of AIIEA was hoisted at DO Cell Jammu by Vice President, Com. Dinesh Kumar Sharma along with Divisional Committee members, Romesh Chand and Rajesh Gupta (Joint Secretaries), Treasurer, Raj Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Raj Kumar, Nanak Chand, Kishore Lal led by Divisional Secretary Com Pawan Gupta. In Srinagar, programme was led by President A M Tantray, Ajaz Ahmad Dar, Fyaz Ahmad Gul, Amar Jeet Singh, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Abdul Majid Sheikh, Nadeem ul Rehman and others.
Speaking on the occasion at Jammu, Divisional Secretary Pawan Gupta said that AIIEA was formed on 1st July 1951 and this 70th Foundation Day of AIIEA is a historic occasion for all of us being celebrated in all over India without violating the norms of physical distancing. As the AIIEA steps into the 70th year of its magnificent journey, we look back with great satisfaction over the successes achieved against difficult and at times impossible situations, he added.
