J&K Branch of ICAI celebrates 72nd CA Day

Jammu, July 1: The J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) celebrated its 72nd CA. Foundation Day which was also graced by former Cabinet Minister CA. Sat Sharma.
The celebrations started off with flag hoisting ceremony at ICAI Bhawan, Canal Road, Jammu which was followed by donation of COVID 19 fight back essentials such as sanitizers & face shields. Later on, night suits & fruits were also distributed amongst children of “Balgran-A charitable home for Destitute Children” at Channi Rama Jammu.
Earlier, as part of CA Week, the Executive Committee Members of J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI along with branch staff also cleaned the branch premises at Canal Road Jammu along with the surroundings under the objective of Swatch Bharat Abhiyan-‘Ek Kadam Swachhata ki Aur’ CA. Sat Sharma while attending the function, greeted the chartered accountants on CA. Day lauded the role of chartered accountants in general & the J&K Branch of ICAI in particular.
CA. Lalit Kumar Gupta, Chairman of J&K Branch of ICAI, in his inaugural address welcomed the guests & emphasized on the importance of the CA Day. He thanked the members for their overwhelming participation in the whole CA Week. He also urged the members to once again pledge their allegiance to the great CA profession and rededicate themselves by contributing their part during this tough time of pandemic where the whole globe is passing through an economic crisis.
CA. Vinay Jamwal (Vice Chairman) , CA. Nakul Saraf (Secretary), CA. Shalay Razdan (Past Chairman) , CA. Arvind Dev Jamwal (JKCASA-Chairman) along with number of Chartered Accountants took part in the celebrations.
