DDC Kishtwar reviews development works under B2V-II

KISHTWAR, July 01: District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara, today chaired a meeting of district officers to review implementation of left out works under convergence plan besides assessing progress on development works under B2V-1 and B2V--2.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar, Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch, Chief Medical Officer, Dr.R.S Manhas, CEO Kishtwar, Dr. Kuldeep Sharma besides officers and officials of other departments.
During the meeting, DDC reviewed progress on various works being executed under MGNREGA, B2V and convergence plans. He assessed progress on water supply schemes being executed under Jal Jivan Mission in three blocks including Drabshalla, Trigam and Thakrie. He directed the PHE Department to complete the tapped water to each house by the end of this quarter.
DDC asked the ACD to expedite construction of 30 identified buildings of Anganwari Centres under B2V so that they are completed in time bound manner. He asked the district officers to submit photographs and details of the works undertaken by them under B2V-1. He also stressed upon the concerned district officers to ensure strict implementation of Lieutenant Governor’s 21 point action plan with focus on transparency, timelines and equity.
The agenda points to be implemented included identifying one iconic tourist spot in district, maintenance of asset register under MGNREGA, construction of Hostels at District headquarter for students of remote areas, installation of on site sign boards for all projects depicting the key silent features, immediate launching of e-application for domicile certificate, setting up of the helpline for anxiety management for COVID19, skilling of migrant labourers who has returned back to this district among others.
In the meeting, district officers were also asked to furnish the data on Sustainable Development Goals by 5th of July for which the required format has already been provided.
