GCW Gandhi Nagar organizes online Punjabi singing competition

JAMMU, July 1: An online open Punjabi singing competition was organized at Punjabi Manch by the Department of Punjabi, Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar from 28th to 29th June.
A large number of students of different colleges actively participated in this online event.
The event was judged by Vijay Yamla, grandson of legendary Singer Lal Chand Yamla Jatt from Punjab and Narinder Singh Wazir, singer from J&K.
Navleen Kour, a student of GCW Gandhi Nagar and Chanpreet Kour, a Phd Scholar of Department of Punjabi, University of Jammu clinched 1st position, Mukesh Rani of GCW Gandhi Nagar and Tegdhar Kour, student of BEd, Sant Mela Singh College Digiana secured second position while third position was bagged by Hitesh, BCom semester 6th, SPMR College of Commerce, Jasleen Kour of BSc Semester 4th, GCW Gandhi Nagar and Arpanjot Kaur of BA Semester 4th, GCW Gandhi Nagar.
Dr Kusum Assistant Professor Punjabi Organised the online event meticulously.
